Maik has a great love for Texel. Together with friends from Texel, he wondered why all catering establishments brought the chips from the mainland, while the potatoes on Texel are fantastic. Restaurants on Texel have now embraced the chips from 't Zilte Friethuys.
The philosophy of 't Zilte Friethuys is zero waste. Every element of the potato is used and you cannot escape the fact that the brand contains more than just fries. The skins that remain are currently being processed in a vegetarian croquette with piccalilli! In addition to croquettes, the brand also creates a chips line, spice line and mayonnaise line.
